What is the Neuro N6?
The Neuro N6 is a compact development board designed to help you prototype and deploy edge AI applications quickly with familiar tools, making edge AI more accessible to all.
Who is Neuro N6 for?
The Neuro N6 is built for developers, start-ups, researchers and hobbyists alike who would like to develop their own edge AI application, such as smart home sensors, smart security cameras, crowd management, animal counting, etc. It is an open platform where anyone can explore and experiment with endless edge AI possibilities!
What makes the Neuro N6 different?
The Neuro N6 is based on the ST32N6 microcontroller with it's built in ST - Neural ART accelerator and advanced machine vision tools. This allows powerful Neural Networks to be run in 10s of milliseconds, allowing real-time inferencing while keeping the simplicity and efficiency of a traditional small microcontroller board.
The Neuro N6 also comes with it's own dedicated Arduino libraries, allowing for rapid and simple development of custom applications. It is compatible with the Adafruit Feather specification, allowing customisation of your hardware with an extensive list of third party modules, as well as Ohmlab's range of expansion boards, such as the Neuro Vision.

When can I buy the Neuro N6?
The Neuro N6 is currently under development. Pre-orders will be available on the 21st of March 2026 via our Kickstarter campaign, as well as on our website. Join our waitlist to be the first to know when our Kickstarter pre-launch page goes live, and later on when our pre-orders are available!
What is Edge AI?
Edge AI is AI that runs locally on the same hardware that captures the data, without the need for the cloud or an internet connection. This means extremely low latency, better reliability and improved privacy, as the data doesn't need to leave the device.
What AI models can I run?
The Neuro N6 can run any Neural Network that has been quantized via the ST Edge AI core for deployment on the STM32N6. This includes most of your favourite Tensor Flow lite models, including custom trained models. We currently have demos for pre-trained person detection, segmentation (outlining objects), image classification, and human pose estimation, and will be continuing to develop more demos to showcase the capabilities of the Neuro N6.
Will the Neuro N6 be available worldwide?
Yes, the Neuro N6 and expansion boards will be available with worldwide shipping, subject to export control and sanctions.
Is the Neuro N6 limited to offline vision AI?
No, the Neuro N6 includes an onboard microphone and IMU, as well as interfaces for a Time of Flight distance sensor, WIFI and Bluetooth/BLE on board our expansion modules. A full range of sensors and capabilities for any project!
